Abstract

This study aims to empirically prove the linkage of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) moderation in the relationship between confirmation, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and continuance intention of Blackberry Smartphone Products in Solo Region. The population in this study is all Blackberry users in Solo Region covering Surakarta, Boyolali, Sukoharjo, Wonogiri, Sragen, Karanganyar, and Klaten. The sampling technique was performed with purposive sampling method. The sample criteria in this study is Blackberry user who use Blackberry for at least 1 month. The representative size of sample used in Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis is five times of the parameter amount (Hair, 2004; Ferdinand, 2011). The parameter amount in this study is 20 x 5 = 100, so the amount of sample used in this study is 100 respondents. The findings show that there is significant and positive relationship between confirmation and satisfaction. Confirmation has a significant and positive effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness has a significant and positive effect on satisfaction. Perceived usefulness has a significant and positive effect on continuance intention. Satisfaction has a significant and positive effect on continuance intention. Electronic Word of Mouth moderating the influence of confirmation on satisfaction. Electronic Word of Mouth moderating the influence of confirmation on perceived usefulness. Electronic Word of Mouth moderating the influence of perceived usefulness on satisfaction.
